These are great headphones especially if you have a Ipod Nano 3G. The sound quality is good for the price of the headphone. The only thing I had to improve upon is the safety release. I almost dropped my Ipod from three stories because I caught the lanyard on something and opened the safety release and fortunately it fell where I was standing. To remedy that I got some medium size black string and tied it to both sides with a lot of slack so it has a secondary safety.
I was looking for some basic earphones that had a lanyard, and this product definitely exceeded my expectations. The earphones are very comfortable, and sound is great. The cable extension comes in very handy too. Overall, I was extremely satisfied!
10/10

I bought these for my daughter to use with her Creative Labs Zen micro V. The lanyard design is very convenient and works great. The sound quality is amazing. I admit I'm not an audiophile, but I was noticing nuances in my music that I've never heard before. I highly recommend these headphones!
I have bought time and again Senheiser ear and headphones. I bought this one to finally solve the problem of headphones not working because of the stress put on the wirejoints causing the connection to break, during excercise / jogging and daily life. For that part it serves its purpose. But I always had one problem with sennheiser. When the company is so popular and in demand in this market sector, why cannot they invest a bit more in ergonomical design on their earphones ? ? they are bulky and fall off the minute you tilt your head a lil steep. Now my ears are normal because buds from sony fit them well. The MXL51 were little better fit than others before but they are still thick, bulky and soildly round. On the sound part, I haven't heard better sound from other popular companies, than the one coming from sennheiser ear and headphones. On this one though the sound is not entirely muffled but its kinda missing treble production. You cant hear properly the frequencies that come out when you say "sssss". I hear a lot of audio books on My IPOD so for that its really good because it plays mildly and the narrator sounds soothing, but I would rather not recommend this product for serious music listening.
I guess I have small ears because when I "twist to fit" it feels like my ears are being reamed out. It would be wonderful if the headphones had interchangeable sizes for the earbuds. I still give the product pretty high marks, because the lanyard is the perfect length for my job in the lab. The loose earbud, when I pull one out to communicate, hangs very close to my neck, so I don't get hung on any equipment while moving about later. The sound quality is not all that great, but I really didn't expect much out of such an inexpensive headphone set. If the earbuds were more comfortable, I would certainly buy more sets for gifts.
